Northwest Florida Shopping

Northwest Florida shopping is an ecclectic experience, from antiques to funky beach items to high end apparel and jewelry. Whether you're looking for original art, gifts and souvenirs to take home, trendy clothing, or bargains galore, there are plenty of stores to capture your interest. We also have some fun and interesting bookstores in the region where you can find that best seller you've been looking for or some helpful Florida guide books.

In addition to small beach boutiques, the region is home to several major malls as well as Silver Sands, the nation's largest designer outlet center with over 100 designer names all in one location.

Cities like Pensacola and Tallahassee have big box stores and popular retail brand names along with local retailers. Pier Park in Panama City Beach is the area's premier shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Here too you'll even find the Miracle Strip @ Pier Park, a revival of the historic Miracle Strip Amusement Park of the 1960s.

One of the area's unique shopping venues is the Village of Baytowne Wharf at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort in South Walton. The Village is home to a number of boutiques and fascinating little gift shops featuring resort wear, Sandestin logo clothing, children's clothing, toys, and gifts. There's even a magic shop for budding wizards and Harry Potter fans.

Smaller coastal towns like Carrabelle and Apalachicola offer unique beach-themed stores and antiques shopping. They all give new meaning to the term shopping at the beach.

When it comes to the holidays, don't overlook the joy of having, and searching for, a live tree. There are actually several Christmas tree farms in Northwest Florida where you can hunt and cut your own tree. It's an old fashioned and fun family activity that makes for great memories.

So whatever your shopping needs, you're sure to find them with the help of friendly Northwest Florida merchants.
