Northwest Florida
July Events Calendar 2012

It's July! Time to head for the beach to cool off and the Northwest Florida July Events Calendar can give you some ideas for fun activities as well. This is National Recreation and Parks Month, and National Family Reunion Month, the perfect time to enjoy a family picnic, take a nature walk or just enjoy some of our beautiful national and state parks.

It's also National Grilling Month, so marinate some grouper or amberjack, toss some veggies in olive oil and do some outdoor cooking with family and friends. It's a summer tradition.

First off there are lots of Fourth of July celebrations taking place all across the region and if you're looking for accommodations, there are some really cute boutique hotels to choose from. Activities range from the big bash put on by Sertoma in Pensacola to the Sopchoppy fireworks and music extravaganza in Wakulla County. In between you'll find parades and fireworks all across the beaches in Navarre, Fort Walton Beach, Destin, Panama City Beach, Port St. Joe, Apalachicola, St. George Island, Carrabelle and Tallahassee. And that's only the start.

In fact there are a gazillion Fourth of July celebrations, so if you know of an event in your area and want to help get the word out, you can post it here.
