Festivals in Northwest Florida
September 2015 Events Calendar

It's fall festival time and this Festivals in Northwest Florida September Events Calendar will help you plan your weekend and sort through

the many things there are to do across the region this month. It's National Courtesy Month, so be polite to everyone you meet. It's also National Honey Month, so pick up some local Tupelo Honey while you're out.

With the kids back in school and the weather cooling off - at least a little - and it being the first "R" month, feel free to dig into some Apalachicola oysters and other fresh seafood and shellfish.

Apalachicola oysters

In fact, the Pensacola Seafood Festival is this month which includes great food like grilled conch, seafood gumbo, oyster croquettes, and soft shell crab, as well as one of the biggest arts and crafts festivals in Northwest Florida. It's one festival you don't want to miss.

The always popular Flea Across Florida is back, so plan to head to Highway 90 for some great yard sale bargains. There's also Greek food and boiled peanuts, but not together.

If you're looking for something of a more "spirited" nature, check out our haunted attractions and Halloween Events calendar.

Even though I've tried to track down all of the events across the region, this is only a sampling of the things to do. With so much going on, it's hard to keep up with it all. So, if you have an item you think should be on the Festivals in Northwest Florida September Events Calendar, please email me with the details, or you can tell us about it in the comments section below.

Also, if you see something that isn’t correct, please let me know that too so I can fix it.

Meanwhile, browse through this list of events and festivals in Northwest Florida and enjoy.

Note: All times listed on the Festivals in Northwest Florida September Events Calendar are U.S. Central Time Zone unless otherwise indicated.
