Festivals in Northwest Florida January 2012 Events Calendar
It's a new year and the Festivals in Northwest Florida January 2012 Events Calendar will give you some ideas of where to go and what to do to enjoy it. The month starts off with cold water plunges on New Year’s Day, including the Polar Bear Dip in Perdido Key and the Penguin Plunge in Navarre. Then we warm up with music, history, Apalachicola oysters and chili, though not necessarily together. Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr. parades take place in Pensacola, Tallahassee, and Fort Walton Beach, as well as other towns across the region, and the National Park Service celebrates with fee free entry.
There are a lot of Florida events happening all across the region and we can’t list them all, but as always, if you have an item you think should be on the Festivals in Northwest Florida January 2012 Events Calendar, you can submit it right here. Be sure to put the event title, date, time, location, if there is a cost, and tell us why you like the event and why you think other Explorers will like it too.
