February Events and Festivals in Northwest Florida

The February Events Calendar for 2015 is more than Valentine's Day dinners and candy hearts. It's about Mardi Gras parades, gumbo cook-offs, and local art.

While a groundhog is dictating the weather to the rest of the country, we can still get outdoors and enjoy warm sunshine, hiking, biking, playing a round of golf and beachcombing. But, it's also cool enough to enjoy "wintery" foods like gumbo and chili, especially when someone else is doing the cooking.

February is Mardi Gras month and parades and festivals are ongoing for weeks ahead. In our region they are mostly family-friendly. You'll find celebrations in Destin, Pensacola, and Panama City Beach, and lots of places in between. Just follow the folks wearing beads.

Note: All times listed on the Northwest Florida February Events and Festivals Calendar are U.S. Central Time Zone unless otherwise indicated.
